I started working on the kit a few weeks ago. Parts were glued and sanded. I skipped taking pictures of the test fit phase and a few other steps, I just didn’t have time. This is also the reason for this late of an update from when I first started working on the kit. This is the second kit of the series I’ve been commissioned to build. I’ve learned a good deal from the Evil kit and that should translate to a much higher quality build for this kit.
Model build gathering was this weekend. It was a smaller group with about 17 or so people total. I also helped my mom clean out some of my old stuff that was packed away at her house about the time I left the Air Force about 8 or so years ago….and found some old pictures…
Last night, I went to grab the day’s O&A show off the mininova torrent site. It’s not there, so I run off to the other site that usually has all the shock jock shows (O&A, Ron & Fez, etc) and I’m not sure if I picked up the bug here, or somewhere else; but the bloody computer sneezed…. *sigh* Time to start up the usual clean up and hack tools. Attempt to run hijackthis or MalwareBytes ; and got nothing…. this is gonna be a fun night.
Asagi project finished in fairly short order. The kit arrived at the end of August and I had her pinned and sitting on my work bench from then until the beginning of November when I returned to the kit. The engineering and forethought into the design of the kit was simply amazing and that attributed to the speed at which this kit was completed. This was a very straight forward build and not much in the way of having to build sub sections, that are then build around, etc etc. Short and sweet kit.
