I finally got to go diving again yesterday morning. Two weeks prior, it had rained and when we attempted to dive, the visibility was about 2 feet. Yesterday’s visibility was decent, about 8 to 10 feet. We went down, caught a few scallops, then went to play with the sea life.

The reefs are full of all sorts of aquatic life, and dotted all along the walls are red and purple sea urchins. The spikes are a little intimidating, but they are kinda fun to toy with. When you touch a particular area of the sea urchin’s spikes, the near by spikes will move towards the touched point. See the video below:

There was an abundance of fish all around, and it’s always cool to see the frenzy that occurs when you crack open a scallop or sea urchin:
