SD CC, Gouf Custom, and OC Fair

This past weekend was San Diego Comic Con. I had never gone to Comic Con and didn’t plan on attending, but one of vendors I know said they could give me a pass to check out the event. Having finished the Musha MkII for the vendor and being off on Friday, I decided to drive down there, deliver the kit and check out the show. I started up on a Gouf 2.0 Gouf Custom conversion kit on Saturday, and later that evening, a group of friends and I went out to the Orange County Fair.

Musha Mk II Completed

So yeah, this kinda came out of left field. I mean, there’s no progress page or anything. Well, there’s a little bit of a story to this kit. I didn’t build it. Well, I helped out a little, but all the parts cutting, sanding, building, some stickers, and the panel line work was done by Angel. I only clear glossed, painted the thrusters, applied some stickers, and flat coated the sucker.

Weekend Update

This was another busy weekend. At this rate, I’ve been using my work week as recovery times for my weekends. Friday night was dinner and a movie. Saturday was scuba diving and the Hollywood Bowl. Then Sunday was a BBQ up at Dave’s parent’s house and another movie. Where the hell did my weekend go, and why is my body sore? I didn’t get a single chance to hit up the gym.

Anime Expo 2010

This is my post about Anime Expo 2010 from my perspective. I’m one of two managers of the Exhibit Hall, I run 2 works shops and a panel, I run the AX Model Contest, and I’m also the point of contact for the Gunpla World Cup competition being sponsored by Bluefin. So I have a fairly unique perspective on things. And this post basically continues from the my last blog post.
