This is the 21st model build gathering. Coming off the week from my ski trip, I was still trying to recover so I did absolutely no model building. I just enjoyed the folks over at the house building. I think there were a few others that are a little burnt out. I blame myself, as I guess it can be a little influential since I wasn’t gunho and out building along with everyone. I’m sure things will be back to normal soon, and I will be back to building like a mad man.
This is the ninth consecutive year for the ski trip. To date, there are only three people on the trip who have made it every single year. Brian, Keith, and of course me… This almost didn’t happen in 2003. A few of the regulars didn’t make it, so it was less rowdy as a result. Clementine, Terry, and Monica add a great deal of rowdiness, so the void that comes with them missing was felt by all the usual suspects.. A good number of people expressed confusion and annoyance that Terry didn’t come up. Perhaps next year. Regardless, a good time was had by all.
Aside from the Shin Musha Gundam, I also got more work on the Hustler kit as well as the ∞ Justice’s joint casting. With three collars casted, three versions of the shirt was glued together using epoxy glue. This will make it very easy to swap out shirts on the kit. For the ∞ Justice, with the successful pressure pot casting, the joints were casted.
