GPB-04B Bearguy Panda Completed

After seeing so many versions of this kit late last month, I wanted to do my own. The panda thing has been done several times over, but still, I wanted do do my own. Taking a break from the HiNu, this little kit was a very quick and dirty build, just to get the bear out of my system. There is a ton of modification potential with this kit but I only did a few mods:

  • added blue LEDs as the eyes
  • dentistry to cut out the mouth and make some bigger teeth
  • filled in the space down the middle of the head
  • Small details to the right hand adding some metal collars to create a more distinct weapon barrel

Bearguy: painting progresses

A little update from the work done over the past few days. With the parts all sanded and ready for paint, I sprayed on some primer over everything to check for sanding mistakes and check the putty mistakes. After fixing those mistakes, a fresh coat of primer and on to painting.

Hi-v Project Resurrection

Last week, I cleaned up my workshop and while doing so, I dusted off and looked at the Hi-v project that I had shelved about a year and a half ago. The kit was placed back onto the shelves while I finished cleaning up my workshop. With the workshop cleaned up, I brought the kit back off the shelves and laid out the parts on my work table to make sure I had all the parts. After all, the kit was sitting idle for 18 months. The only thing missing was the instruction manual for the conversion kit, but I had already done the test fit, pinning and I have the pictures from the previous updates for reference. Satisfied with all the parts present and accounted for, I started back on the kit a few days ago.
