Over a year since the last post means over a year since the last kit
Last year, October 2025; the RE 100 Den’an-Gei was released as a P-Bandai and I immediately jumped on getting one. Not because I was going to build it, but I figured I could mod it to a Den’an-Zon; my favorite kit from F91. The F91 movie came out in 1991 when I was in High School. I had the original 1/100 kit when it was released in the early 90’s as well. No idea where that kit went, but I think I hand painted it. Well, I never got around to ever building the Gei this past year and a few months ago, the Den’an-Zon was announced, so forever stuck into the backlog will be the Gei. The Zon arrived on Oct 14th and I pretty much opened the damn box and started immediately on it. I figured I could finish by Nov 7 *cough*SCGMC*cough* Formula Theme. The decals were stickers so I ordered some third party ones from a shop in the UK hoping they’d arrive in time during the build.
I really like the look of the Germanesque military helmet/gas mask look. I like this kit so much that I snuck it into the design of this year’s SCGMC T-Shirt we’ll have at the show on Sat.
Now to get to snapping and sanding the kit.
