SCUBA August 28-30, 2009August 28-30, 2009: Brian's out here to dive, so Friday we hit up a boat trip off the Magician to Catalina and did three dives. Saturday, we took the Catalina Island Express over and dove off Casino point, we ended up doing 4 dives there. Got some good pictures and some good videos.

August 30, 2009: We hit up shaws cove around 4:00 and did an hour and 15 minutes. Saw a fairly big horn shark sleeping in a sheltered spot, found some octopi and tried to play with it fairly unsuccessfully, and saw a moray eel. We surfaced and quickly ran to the closest open fill station, Sport's Chalet, and got our tanks filled. We had dinner then headed back to Shaw's. We got back into the water around 10 and dropped down and hung out for a hour and 17 minutes. I mostly took videos as I didn't have my strobe so pictures were a little difficult, especially using our dive lights for illumination.
