Ok, I had to suspend the ads on the site because I was getting “yes on prop 8” from google adsense; and I am against California Proposition 8<\/a>. This is a personal choice, and my opinion, so as such, I opted to remove the ads, at least until the bloody election is over. Everyone has a choice, everyone as a vote, it is your own responsibility to vote according to your convictions and what you believe. I care not to sway anyone in any direction as my opinions are that of my own, and they should not have any bearing on how others should vote.<\/p>\n

Ads on the site help pay for running the place. I don’t really need them, but the help is nice and they are limited to small areas on the site, and I think they generally do not intrude on the content of the site. That said, I really don’t want ads on the a site that I run, that I pay for, to be promoting causes or items that are not related to the site or those that are opposite my personal opinions.<\/p>\n

Personally, discrimination is wrong. It is great in comedy, but other than that, it has no place in our world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
