Model Contests!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are two events happening this weekend!  <\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, October 3, 2015 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipmsoc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">International Plastic Modeler&#8217;s Society (IPMS) Orange County<\/a> is holding their annual contest.  There are usually about 400-500 models entered into this competition each year.  Back in 2003, this was also the first live competition I had ever entered, and I got a 3rd place for a MG Z&#8217;Gok. Its definitely a good competition to check out and possibly get some inspiration for your gunpla projects from all the military, aircraft, and car models.<\/p>\n<p>The other event happening this weekend is on Sunday, October 4, 2015.  <a href=\"http:\/\/robotoyfest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">RoboToyFest<\/a>!  They had an event earlier in the year and held a <a href=\"http:\/\/robotoyfest.com\/?page_id=1505\" target=\"_blank\">Gundam Model competition<\/a> that they are also holding this weekend.
